Accredited Courses

Accredited Courses

St Mellitus’ Certificate, Foundation Degree and BA Hons. Degree courses are open to independent students as well as ordinands and readers.

The courses are accredited by Middlesex University for more information please click here.
If you are interested in exploring your faith more deeply, but don’t feel called to ordination or any other ‘full-time’ ministry courses, you can still study theology and ministry with us at St Mellitus. The independent courses we offer are to train people involved in lay leadership in the church.

You can either do this at St Paul’s Theological Centre on Monday mornings or Wednesday evenings, or with North Thames Ministerial Training Course on Tuesday evenings in east London or Thursday evenings in Chelmsford. Unlike ordinands and readers, independent students following accredited pathways study part-time during the week but also need to be able to attend one non-residential study week per year. The date for the next study week is 12-16 of September 2011 9am-5pm.
